Default Camshaft and headwork questions!

Hey!
My plan is to mini-me the crx. I'll be using a y8 head with a thinner z6 gasket. My question is where can i go to get the best prices cam? I also plan on upgrading the valves and retainers. What else is in the head that needs to be upgraded for higher rpm?? I just want to be able to rev to about 7500. I want to be running high 13's or better tho. I heard the exospeed guy had an a6 with just headwork running 13.8 or something like that! Let me know which brands i should go with, where to get them, what all i need, and estimated prices!! thx, let me know

Redsi:

we currently have cams for the following applications:

D16a6(88-91 Si) / D15b7(92-95 civic Dx)
D15b2(88-91 civic/crx DX)
D16z6(92-95 civic ex/si) / D16y8(96-00 civic ex)
D16y7(96-00 civic dx)

F22A4/F22A6 (90-93 Accord) [havent tried them on 94-97's yet-not sure if its compatible-F22 guru's feel free to comment on this one]

B18A1-B18b1(90-00 Integra LS/GS/RS)

Prices range about $150-250 on the SOHC cams
$275-350 on the DOHC cams

Most applications have 2 stages avail. for street use. Special race cams are available(requires upgraded valvetrain)
Cam and Throttle body combos avail. (inquire if interested in that)

This info was planned to be released in our new website(but during the changes and updates planned for october we encountered some problems so it should be up soon)

in the meantime please email me for any questions.
thanks

none of the cams require valvetrain unless you are going with our special race cams.

our race cams are built for 8k+ rpms

but most of the street/strip cams are good enough and dont have that high of a lift that would require upgraded valvetrain. SOHCs dont like that anyways and we found out that it just becomes inefficient to do a high lift cam for an sohc(in general applications)

peak hp are around 7300 rpm but power ban is up to 8K

will,
when the exospeed website went down, did you loose all of the emails from crex22@exospeed.com? I sent you an email just as the site went down and didn't get a reply from you.

I might be interested in a B18B cam. How does it compare to Crower 403s?

Tell me if you can't answer my question, but I search for a while for a cam going into my d15b.
it's an engine comming from japan, not found on notrh-american territory, I was wondering if a d16z6 cam would do the job right cause this engine is very similar to the d16z6 but as slighly difference like the compression ratio and hp output.
He is already faster then a normal Z6 and I don't want to ruin that,
tell me if you got any suggestion for me.
really interested in a cam.
see ya

you can put an a6 cam in your b2 head, but change your valve springs to a6 as well.

Ijjz: we werent sure about releasing the line of cams we had been using the past few years. The main reason was that we didnt have cores for those motors. We only had cores for the D16a6 and the sohc vtec motors.
We should be getting a few cores for the D15b2, F22 and the B18B's but we wont have as much available as the D16's.

Email me if you are interested in getting one soon.
NOTE: please email to crex22@yahoo.com

thanks

kranked 91dx:
I would not be comfortable in just selling you a cam for motor that I am not famiiar with. IF you are FOR SURE on the compatibility of the motor, then I'll help you out in getting the right cam for you.
email me for any questions and let me know the exact compatible motor/head the motor you are using.
