Up.
Remember, the Spoon diff is a 1.5way clutch-type. Much better than the oem R LSD, and included is everything that you'll need to install it.

Not sure what the origin of the Spoon LSD is. Spoon has 'tweaked' it a little though.
Yes, clutch type. And those bottles of Kaaz fluid are about $45/piece. Good stuff.

KAAZ makes the Spoon LSD. I'm pretty sure about that.

Does it make the (for lack of a better word) chattering sound like the KAAZ lsd when you turn?

Yes it would, especially in the parking lot when you make 90 degree turns with speed less than 5mph. You would hear "clunk clunk clunk".
I believe most clutch type LSD are like that tho. It's a compromise you have to live with for better performance.

Exactly.
And yes, rumor has it that Kaaz Japan makes these or provides the parts for Spoon. Spoon does tweak them a bit though.

Actually, list price on the Spoon is $1100 while the ATS is $1200.

Yeah, the Spoon falls in the middle of the Kaaz and ATS, but IMO the Spoon is one of the best.

No they are not.
ATS have more clutch plates inside the unit than any other LSD in the market. IMO it's better, but it costs more.
