and my top speed was 14.822@97.17 60ft=2.394

I dont understand my times. I was at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, AZ on a Thursday night and here is what I got. Any ideas why my trap is so low. Mods are in sig...

Also i can't believe how much APC crap i see on those cars out there. It seems much worse than out here.

 

There are some nice cars there! not to mention some down right nasty rice.

 

I actually trapped higher with just an AEM but my time was 15.04 @ 92.3mph. That night I ran with jut the AEM it was 101 degrees at 10:30pm. I dont know what is going on with trap speed being lower with the mods and the fact the track was cooler around 90 degrees. Like I said.. I am lost. The car was fully dyno tuned with the mods also. Just so you know I was not running around with untuned cams.

Looks like they had a good turnout. I was wanted to go, but I had a golf tournement that I had to go to. Finally more Type R's are out there. It used to be just me and one or two others.

 

 

I have raced that R before....he has some major tranny problems...2nd gear synchros...he was pulling 17's against me becuase he couldn't get it into 2nd. Too bad.

I'm going to St. Thomas on October 19th (Saturday) for test and tune. There will be a lot of Preludes there. I plan on putting down some sick all motor times...much better than my previous 14.807 with just an intake Any R's up to the task? hehe

 

 

 

Anyone who puts a ugly *** body kit on a (i think type R) needs to get their head examined.

 

Your times not bad compared to mine? Your times kick *** compared to mine. Those trap speeds are sweet. If I had that kind of trap speed I would be around 14 flat. I have taken out the cams, ECU and VAFC. My car is back to I/H/E and I will back out to the track this week to try and do some sceintific research... i.e. run the hell out of my car and see what is going on.

 

what is trap speeds is it the final mph you finish with??
