all i know is that a new set of genuine type-r decals from honda/acura are $120 big ones, i guess im stayin decal less for a while

 

Does anyone know if all of the side decals are the same color on each color
Type R? My brother wrecked his 01 PY, and when it came back from the body shop, it either had fake decals or decals for a CW itr...

yep, there was a post a while back where people showed pics of decals on different color R's. Can't find it right now. they were all different depending on what color R you have.

don't know if that affects the part #(though I'm pretty sure it does). Just make sure and tell the dealer what year and color car the decals are for. also, you might want to look at pics in this forum to see the diffs in colors.

I spoke to a local Acura dealer to order the side decals... oddly enough, they didn't ask what color. Can someone post clear pics of their side decals for a FBP? Thanks!

 

back from the dead (way back dead!)

After my R got repaired a couple months ago, they accidentally put the small rear sticker on the new quarter panel. They ordered the "correct" sticker set and I took it in today to have some paint work fixed and have the sticker put on.

But the sticker is the wrong color- the lettering in the word "Type" is black instead of white-ish/grey. The stock one I have on the other side is correct... or at least I assume it is, because that side of the car was painted and the sticker replaced (I think) when my driver-side door was broke into.

So I pointed it out and said they needed to get the right one. They called me back and said that supposedly you can't get the right sticker part number for my car. Can someone please confirm what color the lettering is supposed to be, and also confirm if there are different part numbers and if they are discontinued or something?

These are the part numbers off of Baranco Acura's website. Type 04 is PY and Type 03 is NBP. Her is the link also.
