After:
Potential problem, no the 3/8 drill bit took care of that.

How long did it take to install? Was it fairly easy to do for a newbie who can read instructions?
Give us a run through of what the car feels like with the new bar over the old 14mm bar. Handling characteristics, overall bodyroll etc.

I would really like to do this mod, but I think I'll wait until my warranty is up until I start drilling the subframe...
I hear so many good things though...I wonder if I could convince acura to install it and warranty the work...?

Volcom here, it took four hours of work to get it on. My 94 RS was much easier to work on that that piece that the DOC drives (just kidding, it's a way nicer car than mine will ever be). I had no ABS brackets to worry about and mine was at stock height. Getting Dr.RAB01GSR's car off the ground high enough was a bitch in itself. All in all, not too bad of an install. I was the one that was banging on the tack welded nut that kinda tore the subframe. No biggie though since you have to drill it bigger anyways.
whats is this talk about warranty? by adding an ITR bar what part of the warranty will be voided? the subframe warranty?
also if you have the bsq kit should i even worry, because this prevents tear out right? im a little confused, i was planning on this mod also

As for handleing, it's by far the best suspension upgrade I've done. Take this into consideration when I have koni yellow and GC's. The body roll it eliminated from the rear is amazing.
I think that covers it. Anything else?
how come you went with the JDM ITR bar instead of the USDM? Its a little thicker right? hmm... I want one
Which mounting kit did you use (BSQ/Beaks) ?

Like Volcom said the ABS sensor bracket was getting in the way.
Also, can you email me the pictures? For some reason work is blocking me (and everyone else) from seeing any pictures from Imagestation.

What do you mean when you say that the "ABS sensor bracket was getting in the way"?

Also the washer you provided us with didn't fit as well. Is that washer an absolute must?
The washer is necessary, because it provides reinforcement for the lower mounting point.
i also had a problem with the washer .. the bolt seemed alittle too short. im running without the washer right now. when i looked at the point where the washer goes, there wasnt a flat surface, so i didnt see a point in using it. correct me if im terribly wrong.
Does the washer go on the inside of the subframe? We were trying to place it on the outside next to the spacer and the washer diameter was too big to fix with the ABS bracket there. If it goes on the side of the flange nut, we need to redo the install on Dr. RAB01GSR and mine
Thanks for the help Bret

i was pretty sure the washer goes on the flange nut side(inside the subframe). but take a look at it and see if you see what im talkin about (about the absence of a flat surface).

That does make since, since that spacer almost acts like a washer and that flange nut inside the sub frame is just sorta pressed up against the sub frame with no protect. Looks like we have some work to do.
BSQ:
We (Volcom and Dr. RAB01GSR) are idiots and we"ll make to change soon, thanks for your input.
