Default My apologies

I did a search and could not find any information aside from the general talk of the camshafts. I was not aware everyone knew the specifications on these camshafts already.

Again, my apologies.

So are these "Spec Ds" only available thru Erick's Racing (as the website seems to indicate)?

I wonder when Spec Es will be out...

Why do you think I picked up the backup motor this week?

are these measurements taken at 1mm lift?

Valve Lift Duration
Intake Primary 11mm 250
Intake Secondary 12.9mm 305
Intake Hi 11mm 250
Exhaust Primary 11mm 250
Exhaust Secondary 11.9mm 315
Exhaust Hi 11mm 250

(ramp angles/rates would be nice.)

is it true that Skunk2 Stage 3s have the same primary lobe profile as standard B16a cams since they were originally designed to be vtec 'killers'? otherwise, for the $ they seem like a better buy: ~$1150 - ~$715 = ~$435 for springs/retainers.

Skunk2 stage 3 12.8 mm, duration 273 @ 1mm 11.5 mm, duration 273 @ 1mm

Toda's big primaries seem to make more (power) difference in the low/midrange with larger (~84mm) bore; otherwise, s2 stg 2s and jun 3s have good specs, seem easier to tune (at least for idle), and aren't as hard on the valvetrain (out of VTEC). they also don't seem to require high compression as much for low/midrange, due to milder primaries; after ~6k rpm, this does not seem as much an issue. of course, if i had ~84mm bore, i'd sell the s2/stg2s and go with Toda Bs, and if i were drag racing, i would not worry about idle or be out of VTEC.

also, i searched, but could not find the specs for any of the Skunk2 primary lobes. does anyone have them?

.....whoa, those are erick's custom grinds!

Now how did he manage that one? I know he's got a shady reputation with some big industry people now...
