NSX Caliper info, need help FAST
I am looking into an NSX caliper upgrade on the R. I am looking into this as a alternative to the Spoon calipers. I would like to ask some questions to see if this is a worthwhile upgrade.
1-what calipers am i looking for? which years did they come on NSXs?
2-where can i get them, from a wrecker, from honda?
3-will i need to rebuild the calipers?
4-what is involved when installing them?
5-how much will this cost approximately?
6-when comparing them to the Spoons, how do they stack up?
If i do go through with this, I am going to need to finish it this week, so i need the info fast. thanks a lot.

1. 91-96 caliper
2. wrecker, ebay or honda-tech.com classifieds
3. rebuilding is recommended unless they are brand new
4. bolt on - you should use thicker rotors though - i.e. 28mm instead of 23 mm
5. cost depends on purchase price of calipers - I've seen them for 250USD - with rebuilding/refinishing/painted/new seals/new rotors probably 600-800 CDN.
6. pad size is the same as the spoons (i.e. stock). BUT they use thicker rotors which will act as a larger heat sink - so fade resistance will be better. the NSX calipers are 2 piston vs 4 piston for the Spoons. The Spoon ARE WAY LIGHTER though at the expense of NOT fitting under a lot of 15" rims. The Spoons fit under OEM rims - but just barely.
There is no way in hell you can do this in a week.
There is a place in Seattle area that caters to NSX's and S2000s whose name escapes me right now - that guy had a set of calipers for sale (check the classifieds).

Thats the exact post I was thinking of, and also remember a few others but, I'm sure he will find them if he rephrases or changes his wording for the search.
