Custom Spring rates for Integra Daily Drivers/Auto-Xers.
Time to bite the bullet and upgrade the NeuSpeed Sports on my GSR to something a little more race-oriented, while still being "tolerable" ro drive around every day. Since I want to keep my Koni Yellows, i've decided on either H&R Sports (276 ft.lbs F/R) or gong a little more for some Ground Controls with either the "stock" rates (what are they, BTW, i can't seem to find them), or custom rates.
What rates do you DSP Auto-Xers here have good results with? I was told 500F/400R and vise versa. Keep in mind I have the aforementioned Koni Yellows and an ITR rear swaybar on my GSR.

I'll have to let you know, b/c I just ordered some GC coilovers (400f, 450r) to replace my Comptech sport springs on my GSR c-dan. I honestly don't have any idea what to expect...
I have 380f / 425r, and this is very stiff for street use. I would not go much more than this. I feel every little bump, in fact on big bumps the springs in my seat cushion bottom out (ouch my ***!!). I also run pretty stiff shocks. Anyway, don’t go much over 400lbs/inc
With my setup (see sig) and running about 28psi in the rear and 46psi in the front, the car is just a little lose (just the way I like it)
Stock rate are about 200lbs/inc all the way around, I think.
PS. U will love your new set up when U auto-X it!!

I'm running Teins with the fronts at 448lb and the rears at 509lb. Set the shocks on the stiffest setting all around and the backend will bounce around a bit (and rather painful for daily driving - awesome for autocross). On the softer settings, its very street able - little bumps, grooves, ridges are not a problem. Speed bumps and other closely related bumps are a bit rough.
I drive a Type R- daily driven and Auto-X- I run 450 front/600 rear. Honestly while this has been pretty good- (I swiped the springs from my husband's CSP/ITA Civic as he was wanting stiffer)- they're still a bit too soft as far as we're concerned. But this set up was an improvement from stock- but not too stiff where daily driving comfort was compromised- but when budget allows I'll be going stiffer....Danielle
I'm running 400 in the rear with Koni Yellows. TOO stiff for daily driving in my opinion... especially in Michigan where we have really crappy roads. It almost makes me not want to drive anywhere anymore.

my off-the-shelf gc's are 325f/250r.
great ride on street - hope to swap rear for something better suited for track/autox. perhaps 350?

I have a 95 Integra GSR with the Apexi coilover N1 dampers and the ITR rear antisway bar. They are 13 wat adjustable for compression and rebound. The rates I have now are 620 front and 450 rear. Ride is very nice with the dampers at full soft. Gets much harder when turning the dampers up! I have been considering swaping the front and rear. I am concerned that the ride will just be too hard on me and the car. Car is handleing great however, I dont have oversteer yet. I definately want to do something, just not sure what.
I forgot to mention that I know someone who used to be very competative in his GSR w/ ITR rear bar in DSP and CSP. He had Neuspeed race springs. He now competes in Mod I think.
Get 400f 500R that is what i have...I promise your kidneys will love you for it
Tomarrow I should be able to swap the springs front and rear. I will post and let you know what happens.
The setup I have now is 615f/450r.

615f/450r springs
ITR rear antisway bar with adjustable end-links set at full stiff
damper coilovers with compression and rebound adustment
New setup:
450f/615r
With this setup, I had to adjust the front dampers about three clicks more stiff. So the ride is not too harsh on the street, I put the front tires at 35psi and the rear at 31psi. I also set the rear dampers at full soft. With this setup, driving on the street is very comfortable.
Caution, push the car, you will get oversteer. Lift on the accelerator in a hard turn = little oversteer.
Apply the brakes in a hard turn = spin. Handleing feels great. Autocross should be great.
