An update on the Supra truck (pics)

Hey guys, I know this isn't a Honda but I'm sure you'll enjoy this. As some of you know, we weren't able to get it running by BOTI in Joliet despite our best efforts, but we finally finished, started it up tonight!! It's going to the dyno tomorrow, I'll post #s when done! Wish us luck.

This is a 93 Toyota pick-up, 2JZ swap, T72, 2-speed powerglide. Shooting for some 9 sec. slips!!!

Paul, it will be at the dyno war!! We're tuning it at Elite tomorrow at 2, prior to the dyno war. Also, it will be at the upcoming Import vs Domestic Shootout next weekend! Cant wait!

BTW I'll be getting video of some of the dyno runs, so hopefully I can post some of them up for you guys to see.

COOL AS HELL --

thats dave's truck right? I have been building a toy pickup too, i am making the megasquirt DIY EFI for it and then it will be boosted, but im staying with a 22R. I saw dave run some disguisting times with that 22R and a 60-1!!!

It ran 11s on the 4 banger. :D I've seen this truck in person before, and it was truely sick w/ the old motor. I can't wait to see it with the new setup!

Its kinda funny how I always build things just to be functional and reliable and they always end up with quite a bit of flair to them. It is pleasing to the eye, but it better run the number too...Im not into show queens if you know what I mean. Thanks for the props everyone, wish us luck!
