Default new dyno #'s

went ot the dyno last night.only changes since last time were gsr cams and cam gear adjustment.we made several cam gear adjustments and set the boost to a max of 23 lbs.it made 440 whp and 304 ft lbs of torque.one interesting thing is that low boost was(15 lbs) 307 horsepower and 20 lbs was 407.then it only went up33 horsepower at 23 lbs.the turbo is getting above it's efficiency range.also,i don't know how much difference it makes, but they did not have a fan to blow on the intercooler.who knows, maybe we could have made a few more horsepower.

Whats your motor setup and fuel setup. Are you running a t3/4 60-1? Thats what I have and have been wondering when it will run out on my 2.0 when it gets finished.

very nice.

Yeah, the 60-1 is bigger than my T3/T04e standart and you have 2lbs more boost than on my highest boost run (21 psi) and the higher elevation is a factor too. I hitted 370whp, but with maxed out 440cc injectors. I run 9:1 cr.

Now I will use VSracing tubular a/c compatible manifold, but stick with my Turbonetics turbo and go with 720cc.

hm, but I have only 28 less torque. 277 lbs

those #'s are good for low 11's w/ 24.5" slicks.

9:1 here too! When the engine is not knocking and you make more power with 24 degs than with 22, you are okay. When you make less power with 24 than with 22 or 23 degs, you have a knocking machine.

Be careful, 1 degree too much, and bye bye engine in a few hundred or in a few thousend miles. You can not hear knocking on high revs, you will only see it on the dyno if she makes more power with 24 degrees over less degs and the dyno-curve should be smooth.

PS: Keep the intake temps down as low as possible. Run the turbo water cooled. Every degree lower is very important
