Default scammed by GLOCK? (steve zahorsky)

i am posting this to warn the people on the board. i set up a deal with GLOCK (steve). the reason that i put the question mark in the title is because i think there is a reasonable explanation for everything plus i am a nice guy and i dont want to accuse anyone for something they might not have done, but my friends say i was scammed and i should warn everyone, so here i am.

i was going to trade him my 92-95 red/clear HB tail lights for his short shifter, type r ****, fluidyne radiator cap, shifter bushings and 10 dollars which he had laying around and no use for. he convinced me to send him the lights first since he had been on the board longer than i had. before i sent out the lights i reminded him about 10 times through out the month what items of his i was trading for just so he would not forget.

i lagged in sending the tail lights because my schedule was so hectic at the time and i never had time. it wasnt until a month later that i sent them, but i assured him everyday on AIM that i would send them soon. that whole month we would chat about all types of things like cars, exhaust laws, life etc etc. it was like we were old friends. anyway i sent the lights and they cost a little over 10 dollars to send US priority mail. i have been trying to look for the confirmation numbers, but my room is a mess and i have not had time to look. they are here somewhere...

anyway, i waited a month and did not nag him too much about the lights because i assumed he was a good guy. who am i to complain if he lags, because i did so myself. well after that first month i started asking about the lights and he completely stopped responding to me. he either signs off right away after i IM him, puts on the away message, or just never answers. once i got his "brother" whom i left a message to send my things and even an email address to email me at. i never got any emails. not only that but his "brother" never once used his screename on AIM when we used to chat. it has been about 3 monthes now and still no word. i have noticed that he still posts on HT, but for some reason he never has time to respond to my AIMs. there even was a post about "what tail lights should i get" where he posted his car with my tail lights up and everyone was saying how clean they were and where did he get them. he never responded though. he is in the connecticut area. i would post his address too, but like i said there is possibility that hes not crooked. 3 monthes is a while to lag though...

steve if you see this please respond to me here soon because i know you are still posting up on HT. i can undersand if you were lagging but 3 months?? thanks

All kidding aside, I find your story VERY hard to believe. I buy and sell Cisco 678 routers on eBay. They're about the size of a Sony Walkman and it costs me 10 bones to send them by USPS Priority Mail. NFW you sent tails for that much...

Black, hard story to believe? Then dont bother posting and leave this thread alone. Tony is a good friend of mine and is probably the most honest and truthful person Ive known. He is a student that works hard for his money.

He has no reason to lie.

So take your bad self and buy your Cisco 678 routers on Ebay.

Dude, you took about 3 months to send me the tail lights. They were just some used outer halfs of the tail lights, and one had a piece broken off. You said you felt bad for taking 3 months and I can just have them. I'll see if I have my AIM logs from back then still saved... I've been on this board for a year and half dude, I'm not gunna scam someone for half a set of used broken tail lights. I'd appreciate it if a mod could remove my name from the thread topic... Thanks...

Taillights are very light. Are you paying for insurance on the routers? That could be the additional cost.

I estimated shipping of taillights to 10.75.
