My friend that had a 90 integra with a LS/VTEC had this same problem..... The car is suppose to have fuel cutt at 8500 rpm but it started to cutt of at 6000 rpm.... So he figured that ecu was fucked up but when he changed it for another GS-R computer that same problem happened. Then he figured out the problem, the ecu was getting hott ont he floor so he put it under the seat on the carpet and the problem was sloved...
Weird if you ask me!

well i just did some checks, and i found out its not a fuel problem, but an ignition problem, its not getting any spark.. not throwing any codes, ive checked all the wires, checked the timing a couple times,
it idles and runs perfect, but once it hits 3200 the ignition begins to pulsate, it wont go any faster and black smoke (unburned fuel) blows out my exhaust..
anyone have any idea?

trank angle sensor wiring is fuct up re check that (dizzy wires)
if thats the probleem, what exactly ydo i need to do here?
i was goin to say that.... i have experienced that twice...
its the CKP crank angle sensor on the dizzy.. sends rpm signal to ecu.... and makes it cut aroun 3500..... check that u dont have the CKP cables reversed on the dizzy... and if they are right, switch them... i had that problem even with my Z6... i can bet 5 bucks to it.... try to use another dizzy.... check ecu .. ususally it givesw a code 4..

ive had similar problems as well! let me explain...
Sometimes when starting my car, i get an immediate CEL.. so im like ok? The car idles kinda rough, and i go to take off and boom, fuel cut off at around 3k. So I usually just turn the car off, and wait, sometimes the CEL goes away sometimes it doesn't. I always wait for it to.
Also when i put my car in reverse, the Gas goes crazy, and i get alot of unburnt fuel coming out of my exhaust and i get a crazy CEL flashing on and off.
I have a B16a in my CRX HF.

I had this problem exactly. try resetting the ecu
did the cutt at 3200 rpms happen to you too?
I'm having this problem too, I didn't know what the heck it was, I changed the distributor it still happens everyonce in a while, I just turn the car off then back on and the cel goes off and its back to normal, I think whoever said the ecu was getting hot might be right though, or maybe its a combination of both
