Another 98 R taken from its owner
I was informed that last week another member of the ever rare 98 ITRs went missing. The car belonged to my cousin. The disappearance occurred in Houston at a club (Hurricane Hut) on Richmond Ave on Saturday, Sept. 1. They found the car on a country road in Fort Bend County this past week (Sept. 4-8) missing motor, tranny, seats, wheels, and spoiler. The number of the car was 98-0480. If anyone sees these parts floating around please let me know. There is a reward for information leading to the recognition/arrest of the party responsible or for the parts to be returned to their rightful owner. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but someone has to do it.
The fact that they took the spoiler makes me think this swap went into a gsr hybrid.
Patrol the local highschool for a gsr with a whit spoiler. Find one, and kill the owner.

In addition to the OEM parts, there were AEM fuel management parts (FBR, fuel rail, and fuel filter), AEM CAI, AEM cam gears, unorthodoz pulley set, the older Apex Dunk Exhaust (larger tip, not sure what the measurement is) JDM DC sports header, custom made test pipe (OBDII "compliant")
I think that's all
Problem with patrolling the high school is that there are about 500 in the Houston Area. But I will definately be on the look out while driving the streets.

Not to be an azz, but your cousin was asking for it by parking at Hurricane Hut. He should of rode with his friends or took his parents car there.

He is going to buy the car back but of course, everyone is just waiting on insurance. Who knows what they are going to offer and what the price of the car will be.
Yes, we know Richmond is a bad area to be in but they were not planning on going to a club, it just happened and they didn't want to go back home to switch cars. But it still doesn't give others the right to steal something that doesn't beling to them.

Sorry to hear... that trully sucks, but I would never take my ride to clubs, movies, and having a lil trouble even thinking of takeing it to school if I ever decide to go back to school. It's unfortunate, but I guess that's the price we pay for driving a damn ITR.
Does anyone recall the post about the guy who was asking questions about putting a B18C5 into his teg for only $2000? I think that he was from Houston, and it sounded suspicious to me as well as others. Just wondering if anyone recalled his screen name or what post it was. I searched but to no avail.
