Whats wrong with Camber Kits?
There was a post a few weeks ago, I can't remember what it was titled, and right now i'm too lazy to search
but it had something to do with suspension. N E ways, I noticed alot of you were taking off your Camber Kits after a year or so, and I wanted to know why? What is it that happends to them?

the upper A-Arm (control arm) hit the body when going over any sized bump. This was because the camber kit pushed the A-Arm out in order to correct the camber.
A poorly designed kit.

Washered out the rear, went through two camber kits on the front without success till i just said, "to hell with this!" and left it negative.
have you guys tried grinding down the A-arm or spreading the legs of the control arm for clearance? what about the "new" ball joint camber kits? i hear that doesn't pull the A arm as much compared to the other camber kits that correct at the legs of the A arm.
Brian with 17's and a 2 inch drop do u think its better with or without the kit?
My one side (front) camber kit has caused big problems. The one upper control arm has smashed through the body (lip) in the fenderwell. The driver's side has been stuck above that lip for a while now.Well the other day I pulled out of my driveway and started to go forward. The car clunked and just hit the ground.I got out and apparently the lower ball joint has pulled out of the lower control arm. I believe this to be because when the suspension wasn't allowed to travel back down (over a bump or dip) it was supporting all of the weight of the tire/lower suspension and caused either the cotter pin to shear and back off the crown nut or the crown nut just stripped.Either way now my fender is completely f&*%ed up from the tire bending back and hitting it.The half-shaft pulled out of the tranny and is bent. The ball joint is also screwed.I will post pics as soon as I feel like uploading.
It was weird at first because I would jack up the car and the driver side front tire would stay up in the wheel well.
to me for not fixing it then....

I have the adjustable ball joint kit on the front. It's by K-Mac. It works great without any fender clearance issues. I got it from Manchester Honda a few years ago. It wasn't cheap though.
LOL
Yeah but my part runners don't include money for the new parts
Potentially, they do.
Could you bear to part with one?
