FS b20/vtec built with turbo setup FULL SWAP
Im posting this for a friend. We are playing around with the idea of selling his b20/vtec turbo setup to fund another project. Not sure if we want to do it or not but would like some input and we will entertain offers.
jdm 98 b20b block
b16a head (SirII)
eagle rods
endyn 9.2:1 .20 over pistons (coated)
DSM 450cc injectors w/ resistor box
Endyn PVC system
chipped p28 ecu w/ mugen b16a program (9200 rev limiter)
obdI wiring + dist
ACT xtreme clutch
b16a tranny w/ axles
MaxRev 4-1 turbo manifold
Garret t3/t04e .48ar 57 trim w/ 4 bolt exhaust (ultimate street turbo)
MaxRev downpipe+testpipe 2.5" (beautiful)
greddy type24 FMIC (92-95 civic)
greddy intercooler piping (92-95 civic)
greddy typeS bov
tial 35mm wastegate with 6psi spring
Its comes with everything to swap into a 92-95 civic...although could be swapped into a 96+ with some wiring and im pretty sure the piping will work OK.
We used the afc hack with the 450cc DSM injectors and ~65psi of fuel pressure...and she was a very happy motor. Although i recommend getting a stand alone (hondata or AEM EMS).
The motor has about 4000 miles on it and was professionally built by Accurate Machine in san diego. (they do alot of the machine work for AEBS) This motor is good for 20+psi. Although it has never seen over 10psi. It has never been dyno'd although im guessing its around 300-350hp @ 9-10psi of boost.
It ran a 12.6 @ 113mph in a 2800 pound full interior 95 civic coupe with super small 14" slicks. (It was most of the way through 5th gear in the 1/4 mile). It could have gone much faster but traction was a huge problem the first 1/8 mile (damn tires just didnt want to stop burning).
Here is some pictures...

Here is a video of the car running a 12.77 at carlsbad.

This motor is just awesome. Pictures cant describe the amount of power this motor is capable of. It is one hell of a motor. It is soo smooth you could give the car to your grandmother and she would think it was a completely stock civic...that is until she got on the gas. (oh and the clutch is a little stiff too
)
Again this is a full swap. Drop in and get an AFC and run 11s in a light hatchback at 10psi. Get a standalone and this motor is capable of some crazy times. I have some friends that got 618whp out of a similar motor at 30psi of boost.
The motor is currently sitting on the garage floor (already out of the car) just waiting for somebody special..is that you?
SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY!! Im asking $6500/OBO.
thanks,
liam & jay (jay is the owner, DJDXM)

damn...someone buy this now. if i saw someone pop the hood and this thing was under it...i'd leave and go home. hahah great looking motor man. did you get bored of it and wanted to start a new project?
Well for someone to make a "Serious" offer to you - I would imagine they would want to see some dyno results... thats just my opinion though.

Thats why i included the link to the video of the car in action. It pretty much speaks for itself.
thanks,
liam

Why he selling it?
What's the status on it far as miles on the engine, etc... those are stock sleeves, correct? I wonder if putting a block guard in there would help any... also was there a girdle ever put on it?
Tell me ALLLLLL about it. ;-)
