i hit a 14.8, 95mph, with a shitty 2.4 60 foot time in my 2400 pound delsol, with a full tank of gas, im running 11.5:1 compression, type r cams, and full type r valvetrain, b16 head on a b18 block, not bad for a run on street tires and a slippy track.
not bad, something has to be wrong, i hit lower times than that with only i/e on a b16 in a hatch, and i was running high 2.3's almost 2.4's in my 60 ft time. Maybe you just were not getting hardly any traction but your times should be way way lower than a 14.8.

My ex-girlfriend in her 91 hatch ran a 13.94 at 99.06mph. This was on slicks and she had very little time in the car at the track.

What kinds of mod was on the 96 Integra? I have the same chassis and doubt that I run anywhere near that.

Why not? Also with a list of mods would be cool too.

Yeah, how does that 96 Integra chassis with the 1.8 ls/vtec hitting 12's? I really want to know.

i dont have my ls.vtec done yet, im still running my b16, but if you guys really want i could post some of my times that way you should definately know what you should be running under, and a 14.8 just seemed super high times for a ls.vtec. I figured you would want ls.vtec slips since that's what the thread is about.

Yeah, I'm really interested in the ls vtec slips/mods especially the one in that 3rd gen integra chassis.

I raced a LSVtec in a CRX at a local track. He ran a 14.5 (not sure on his mods...but pretty sure stock with MAYBE even stock exhaust..no muffler). I ran a 14.9 in my EK with a B16A2 with stock Si exhaust. I am gonna go out to the tarck this weekend adn run hopefully a 14 flat. Also this track is shitty. I have heard people hit close to 1/2 to a full second slower at a good track.

i gotta say thumbs down to you mr.thumbs down, if you were a carney, you would have been fired by now for lying so badly, you gotta learn to sell that lie, basically with me in a del sol were weighing in at 2600 pounds, thats pretty quick with a ls/vtec at 14.8, just talk to your buddies who have these quicker ls/vtecs, so i can do what their doing, i would love the info, if not, you lied!
how about talking trash will get you no where, if you wanted help then your going about it the wrong way or info for that matter....and second off, you dont go calling people liars when you have no proof..... and your engine is not a stock ls.vtec right.....so 14.8 to me, on a mildly built ls.vtec....not up to what you should be doing....i can't say what your doing wrong because ive never seen you run.....but...... i drove my dx coupe to a 14.57@95.95mph on a jdm 2nd gen B16 with only exhaust and intake....id take a wild guess at 2350 lbs with me in the car.
Think im lying...lol.....your crazy.... so im gonna break down that run for ya...

60 ft. 2.348
330 6.256
1/8 9.463
mph 77.32
1000 12.222
1/4 14.571
mph 95.95

and last time i was at the track, on a warm night with my radiator blowing hot *** air all over my intake and humid as hell in Kentucky at Beech Bend in my hatch I ran a 14.62 @ 95.14.......and my friend with his hatch(basically same setup) got down to a 14.4 something the other night.( i wasnt there for his run )

so there......there is your proof...geezus.... your times should be lower than mine. and why they are not.......i have no clue, i havnt seen your full time slip nor have i seen you run......so ask somebody to watch you run, and quit running your mouth

and to add.....im sayin not stock ls.vtec as in your running higher than normal compression and full itr valvetrain, not just a ls block slapped onto a vtec head...before i get corrected on ls.vtec not being stock period...blah etc.

I don't think 12's with an LSVTEC in a hatch is out of the question. I mean, if in an integra chassis, 185whp will get it into the 13's, surely similar power in a hatch with slicks would produce 12's. Now, 12's in an integra chassis is harder to come by, but not impossible. A guy with a 225whp Integra (B18C) with ITR tranny ran 13.25. I think Steve Sakai runs 12's in his ITR, although I have no idea how much power he is making. So it is possible, but difficult. Also, I'm sure the LSVTEC would have to be fairly heavily modded to produce the numbers he is talking about. Importreview.com has a dyno chart of a LSVTEC producing 229whp with Ross pistons, eagle rods, Jun3 cams/valvetrain, custom 4-2-1 header, no cat, 2" exhaust, Hondata tuning, lightened crank, and lightened flywheel. I'm not positive, but I'd say that motor would have a very good chance of running 12's.

Well my friend hit a 12.8 in an EX coupe, which weighs about as much as an Integra so there you go.

On slicks of course.

lotta these guys are dumping answers with no real backing, its kinda annoying. where are these guys with superfast b16's on the street, when im destroying them on highway runs! and im only running 14.8 at 95mph!
email me and ill send you scanned slips with all these cars running 12's.

Yeah crxssr is right; also why add all these other times that aren't ls/vtec's? This post is to compare ls/vtec's (LS blocks not crv blocks either) times.

i find it humerous that you all are assuming differences in times have everything to do with the motor setup. You're not even looking into the biggest factor, which is the driver, along with drivetrain, suspension, and power to weight ratio.

this thread is pretty rediculous

this thread is pretty rediculous
we know power to weight ratio to a certain extent, its a mild ls.vtec in a del sol...there thats part of it.......drivetrain FF on street tires....driver, never saw the #s from his time slip so its hard to tell where he's faster than other places on the track. suspension has not been discussed......

the only reason i posted a time is because a post was mis-read and that guy tried to jump to conclusions or what not so it irritated me that he was trying to call me a liar ....but that was settled already because of a misread thread...done deal

and also...... to a certain vague extent knowing some factors, you can sometimes help someone with a problem they may be having by looking at their times. And I think thats what crxssr was looking for maybe, because someone posted how other ls.vtec'd cars they knew were running such low times, so he wanted to know how to get his times down or how they were running such fast times.
