may i ask how you got the lip to stay on like that?

 

looks good now but i can see wrinkling at the bottom near the center. why don't you just save some cash (if you don't have enough) and buy a real lip looks way better. there are tons of lip kits out there for the EGs. unlike my EF the only lip thats available guaranteed to fit like a glove is the factoy Si lip thats why some EF guys go to home depot and make their own

 

screwed on, but the screws will soon be replaced by rivets.

I'm going to put some brackets behind the lip to push it forward, to prevent the lip for wrinkling in the future.

as for, not buying a lip, this is actually my spare bumper. i will be using it when i go to the track, i do not want to chip up my bumper after i get my car painted, thats what this bumper will be for. I already have the factory lip.

oh so you do have an actual front lip EG lips look so sweet! when you're done fabricating some kind of bracket to keep the lip from either wrinkling or bending inwards (from highway speeds) let us or me know cuz i thought of the same idea long time ago but haven't had the time to actually jump on it

troy: Please explain why it is ghetto for me to make a cheap lip for my spare bumper, which i will be using on the track. Maybe i should spend $500 on a CF lip and risk cracking it on the track ?? but then atleast i wont be ghetto.
