I am about to install my 1997 gsr guage cluster in my 90 crx si... cuz they look sick... I am on my journey now... I will make a write up after wards.. so others can do it also does anyone else have this done?

I have a 2000 Gs-R cluster, but then what dash are you putting on with the cluster? cuz I dont think the cluster will fit in the stock crx dash...let me know what you do..

Its all done and its in... Wiring was a snap... I am using te stock 90 crx si dash... same as any crx dash... along with the 90 crx guage cluster cover... there is only one problem... my fuel guage is not work?? any ideas.. I have the yellow and white wire from the gsr plug.. its on the 16 pin I believe.. and I have it hooked to the fuel from the 8 pin crx plug.. I soldiered every connection... everything else is working... besides the speedo.. I am waiting on the Vss cuz my friend forgot to bring it over but I will have that in tommorow and I will snap some pics and make a little pin out write up too... Thoamas do you know what could be wrong with my fuel guage?

 

wow thats kinda weird... I did my guage cluster like the same way u did... I never read your fitment post though... I put a screw in the ear at the top of the cluster and I sanded off the sides of the cluster and removed the brackets.. I cant figure out th fuel problem though

 

I put a 99 gsr dash, console and cluster in my rex. Its looks really good, wiring was ok. You have to cut alot of the back of the gsr dash out though. But it looks really trick in there.

 

with an integra dash... i heard the air vents don't line up... is that correct??

 

I have a gsr dash also... but not installed... anyone want it? 97 gsr dash... also I have a 96 ls cluster so you can have a complete dash.. I would never install it because teh door panels dontr line up... but if u get custom panels then it would look sick

 

damn i want to attempt the GSR dash install since i have one sitting in my garage

I don't mean to put down your effort, but it doesn't look like the shape fits too well. You can't see the left and right edges of the temp and fuel guage looks like they get cut off. I don't think the rounded shape fits too well with the dash either. I realize the whole integra dash would look better, but the door panels will never line up.

 

ya it cuts off the very edges a little bit... but thats how any integra cluster into a civic/crx fits... even the 92+ civics when you put it in there its cut off...

ok I figured out the gas guage it works now.. I will go get my digital camera and take some pics later today and make a little write up
