Default The beater finally runs ...

... Spun a bearing on the ZC in January. Finally the car is drivable again.

Sorry a lot of the pictures are blurry, I suck. The car only has medium rubbing compound on it, I haven't had time to make it shiny. I also haven't had time to find a good way to make the door panels fit. So, I'll have to do that later too hehe.

This is what the car has now. EVERYTHING was done in my garage, except for powdercoating the wheels and mounting the tires. Everything else was done by yours truly hehe:

Engine:

New '96 LS Block
'98 LS Head
JE GSR 9.8:1 Pistons (9.6:1 or so in LS)
Eagle Rods
ARP Head Studs
Clutchmasters Flywheel
RPS Max Pressure Plate w/ Street Disc
JDM Y1 Transmission w/ LSD
HCP Mount Kit, minus the "adjustable linkage"
Greddy MX Exhaust
Converted to 4 wire O2

Exterior:

Painted Metallic silver/blue by yours truly
Wings West RS "Kit"
4 door door handles
Body color matched door handles and mirrors
Shaved Emblems, Hood Squirters, Antenna, Rear Squirter, Rear wiper
99-00 Civic Si Wheels Powercoated Flat black
Bridgestone Potenza S-03s
McGard Black Wheel Locks

Brakes:

Brembo Blanks all the way around
Axxis Ultimate Front Pads
Cheapo Organic Rear Pads

Suspension:

Ground Control Coil Overs
KYB AGX in front
Tokico Illuminas in back
Suspension Techniques rear swaybar

Interior:

1994 Integra GSR Dash, Gauge Cluster, Center console
Del Sol Seats w/ Grey Stripe
Brand New (actual) black Carpet from Road Works Auto
Floor Mats from Road Works Auto
Pioneer DEH-P7400MP Deck
Infinity Kappa 3 way speakers
All Sound Deadening Removed
Optima Sealed Battery
Battery Relocated to Trunk
Glass Mount Antenna

Let me know what you think.

Oh, and the HCP "adjustable shift linkage" freaking sucks. What a POS.

I ended up just rewelding my stock CRX Si linkage. So if anyone wants an HCP shift linkage (minus the 5" part that fits a B series tranny on the stabilizer bar), I can give you a great deal... almost free. Wait, this might not be that good of a deal hehe. Anyways, if anyone wants it you can have it.

Thanks for the comments.

The dash install was, to use the vernacular, a bitch. I had to cut a lot of the underside of the dash out with the die grinder. All of the mounting locations are custom. I had to weld 5 custom brackets to hold the dash and the center console to the car. The steering column brace had to be removed. The steering column had to me physically relocated 1.5" to the left to center with the integra dash.

Here are some pics of the dash install, prior to painting: http://imglib.************/index.cgi?cmd=viewcat&id=211

The wiring for everything was actually easy -- just time consuming. Most of the colors actually match up. I had to convert to electronic VSS to get the speedometer to work, though.

i was gonna say it looked pretty good(looks like mine) when it was stock... then i scrolled down. DAMN! Nice job. I like it! That dash looks perfect in there.

How much did the complete GSR dash swap end up costing you?

I had the tire place swap tires between my integra and CRX and I didn't have an extra set of wheels to put the integra on meanwhile... so I used those mad leeto curbed chromies and 2 spares hehe.

I don't let tire shops work on my car anymore. They overtorque the lugnuts and cannot be trusted to do anything right in general. So I just bring the tires and wheels to them in the back of a truck

According to the CR-X/EF forum rules, this thread should be locked because it's a "look at my car" thread complete with pictures.

I dare one of you mods to lock this one!

You know I'm kidding dustin. The car looks so bad-*** dustin. Looks similiar to what I did with my 1992 CX, but with a CR-X.
