Yeah, but inever trust those magazine times, they don't even break the cars in barely, plus they shift at power peak i hear....they said thats what they did with the s2000 when it came out in 2000, and they got a 14.3 , thats horrible, then they got a 13.8 in 2001, i think thats a better, but still some room for improvment...its all in how you drive the car and you gotta shift at redline to stay in our power band in the next gear...

Here is my best timeslip to date, I'm in the left lane. This run was made bone stock at Bandimere Speedway in Colorado, approx. 5800ft. above sea level I believe. If you believe in altitude calculations that would put me at around 14.5-14.6 at sea level.

Comptech Icebox
Comptech short Ram
Comptech Air Filter
Nitto NT-555R tires, 100+ runs on them

Video - not the best, but not bad 14.37 @ 95.5mph...I also have a 14.32 later that day, but not on video, time slip is sitting at home on the wall next to my 13.79 @ 98mph

something I noticed with the times, is that nobody ever says the temperature outside, theres definately a difference in performance when running in say 90deg heat then running at night when it's liek 70... when I was comign back from LA on 5 my car was topping out round 135-140 but once I crossed the mountains to cooler air made 150... so I think heat can have a huge impact, yea I should probebly not be speeding that much but I wanted sleep.

S2000 can pull off 13.5's stock. The ITR can pull off 14.1's stock.

More likely however, is high 13's for the stook and mid-high 14's for the R.

I've seen anywhere from 14.4-14.9 with a stock ITR, and I've even seen a timeslip of a 14 flat run with just AEM CAI.

i have never seen those numbers in a stock ITR or s2k.
RagingAngel has the fastest bone stock ITR that i've heard of (and I believe him). 14.4

Wack low #'s can be achieved once. Especially when the wind is behind your back. That's why I threw out my best wack time and post the norm.

Exactly what i thought, mid 14 is for sure possible, maybe the s2k doesn't have much room for improvement, but i was right about the ITR....lol

Thanks for the shoutz Jonas...but I believe the fastest stock ITR ET goes to Victor Perri.

He's into the 14.3x range...but in my defense I was running with some bent valves.... but yeah yeah..excuses excuses....!
