LoL. I was out there earlier, fooling around. halfway cleaned up an area on the floorboard, tested some spray paint to see how well it matched original interior color. realized that now I can't work on the interior on that side, since I can't set my feet down on it for a while.

matches like, perfectly, tho'.

Was it worth it though, how much weight would you say you removed with taking out the tar?!

I have done this on a couple of cars and it does suck but it's not that bad. once the dry ice cracks the tar with a hammer and a putty knife it comes up pretty quick.

As for the weight, it depends on the year and make of the car because somehave more then others, 96 hb took out 75 LP, 88 CRX 60LP, 99 civic 90LP so any where from 60 and up. This is all tar inclueded under the dash and the whole interior ripped out.

When I was stripping the tar out of the back of my 'rex i'd spray on the tar remover pretty heavy... then light it on fire Once it got hot i'd scrape it with a putty knife and repeat. Make sure you have the hatch open or you could find yourself talking to God real quick.

lol....I guess I was lucky mine just chipped off cause it was so old and krappy....literally I just grabbed loose corners and pulled......

but my friend burnt his off and used a chisel to get it all off...it took him forever but it was better then dry ice....he bought like a pound of dry ice and we couldnt get it to work very well.....

I sprayed my entire interior floor and rear hatch with truck bed liner....it looks good....but ive long since just put my interior back in......I got sick of the stripped look.
