Ingalls 3 deg. Camber Kit install
Just wanted to post this up if any of you guys were interested.
Right now Im running Skunk2 coilovers, and i like to drive pretty low....My tires have been killing me so i decided to buy the Ingalls camber kit (3573) to save me some wear. I just bought new tires also, Yoko AVS ES 100, and I definately didnt want to wear those out.... I decided to swap out the Skunk springs for Ground Control springs while I had everything out (bc Skunk springs just SUCK). The install was pretty straight forward. First i unbolted the shock and took those out to replace the Skunk springs. With the strut out, all you have to is unbolt the 2 bolts that connect the control arm to the shock tower on top. With that out, you just swing the control arm towards you and unbolt the stock peice the camber kit is replacing. Their is a metal brace that you need to hammer off and place back onto the camber kit. That brace is to keep the ingalls kit straight when your bolting it on (which is impt. so when you adjust the kit, it adjust evenly) Be sure to take off the metal rings on the camber kit, bc you dont need them. Just use a screw driver to pry them off. Swing the camber kit back into its location and bolt up the top 2 screws. The next screws you bolt up are the ones on the side of the camber kit (14mm i belive) And last ones you bolt up are the bolts on the bottom. Since my camber was bad, i pulled the camber kit all the way out and bolted them up. Make sure both peices feel even when pulled out all the way. These kits actually correct up to around 2 degrees with out body modifications. Since my kit was pulled out all the way, the control arm was hitting the shock tower. All I did was take a hammer to where it marked the shock tower. Nothing major, just a few hard licks. (I did the hammering when the control arm was unbolted) With everything bolted up, i dropped the car, and the camber looked great. The only problem was now that the toe was WAYYY off, my tires were angles incorrectly. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE ALIGNMENT SHOP ASAP. I also shimmed out the rear to correct the rear camber also, and that turned out great. So now, after the alignment, and my car dropped on the tires, (maybe a tad bit lower) - and the GC springs - My camber and toe are damn near perfects and rides great!

How much was your kit? My tires have extreme camber wear(I'm dropped on Eibach Pro-Kits, btw) and I went to an alignment shop and they quoted me about $125 per corner for Moog camber kit, (the price includes parts($60) + labor($65)) They said it was a PITA to put a camber kit in, because they have to keep taking the kit on and off of the car to correctly adjust the camber, but according to your post, it seems like it's not that complicated. Are they trying to screw me here?
My camber kit was only $130 shipped for the both front corners. Then my alignment was $65. My car is pretty low so i adjusted the kit all the way. Sounds like to me they are BSing you, bc all you have to do is have the car raised and adjust 2 screws on each corner to adjust it, NOT take off the kit everytime.
I'm about to buy my bro this camber kit for his 95 Accord. Is this the right one here:

It just looks totally different than the 2 skunk2 kits I've had on my civic's. Just want to make sure it's the right one

Man I tried to shim out my rears and crossthreaded one of the bolts that goes into the frame during re-install. I just left it basically 95% of the way screwed in, cross threaded and all. I am clueless what to do now. I guess nothing. Maybe pray it will hold for a while

hahha..lol I did the exact same thing. Luckily I had a good auto teacher at the time (high school - this year) All in all, it was a bitch getting out, and the whole bolt assembly came out so we had to redo everything
