I had this same problemon my teg... it was used n abused by the previous owner and my headlights weren't as clear and they were kinda yellow. My friend showed me how to clear them up.
Get a soft cloth, something that won't scuff up the surface of the lens... then get 3m rubbing compound and put a little bit on the rag. and apply as if waxing and then after letting sit for a couple secs.. buff off with another cloth, or a different section. Then use any sort of polish to make it more shiny. One thing tho... u need to keep the rag a little damp so moisten it very slightly with some water or as i did with a little spit. it might sound gross but werked great for me. hahah... and even more so on my friends talon
BTW Do a test portion in a small corner first to see how well it comes out. If say ur lens were made of something more sensitive and it got damaged by teh rubbing ocmpound or something u wouldn't want the whole thing coverd w/ it.

I used Metal polish (BRASSO, NEVERDULL etc. found at hardware stores) A can that has the cotton in it. Just rub in circles a lot of times. Then Wipe off and use a plastic polish.
