Showing off my Battery relocation and Crossmember I made this week!!!
Just showing what i've been doing lately, molding is pretty much done so i've been welding all kinds of stuff, i've made like 4 short-shifters in the last week as well. I'm going to take some more pics of the crossmember from inside the engine bay and show you that solid radius rods that launch so great!. Wait till you see what i'm working on currently!! they'll be great.

I want to know why you moved the battery to the front... wouldnt that be more dangerous since a front end accident could cause the battery to explode? Most people relocated the battery to the back, or somewhere near a firewall. Now just a simple fenderbender or event a dip can cause the battery to leak or explode.

Thats a good place to mount the battery for weight distribution, just swap to a dry cell and add a shut off switch somewhere in the inside and you'll be fine...My battery will be sitting there when I get around to it...

i am curious about how you made yours? what was the cost? how well does it handle or is it mostly for drag racing?
you should put the battery at the back
If youre roadracing you'll want more of a 50-50 setup.
yeah, it seems that people often overlook the fact that in drag racing you want all of your weight over the front tires to help you hook up so, therefore it is pretty effective in my eyes. as far as the danger of it exploding if i hit something, i'm not too worried about that, it's underneath the frame and so the only thing it could really explode on is the tire and bumper, which in my eyes is better than whole engine bay, either way where i have it makes it farther away from me than the stock location.
The crossmember handles great around corners. i have front and rear strut bars and a lower rear tie bar so my car sticks to the ground amazingly now.

to the work.
i wouldnt want my battery there. hell your posting pics on the net. you know how easy of an access that is to reach your battery, pull the negative and easily take thier time rummaging around your car and possibly pushing or pulling away with it? put it in the trunk, its also safer.
