To those with Milano Red Integras with fading wing/mirrors...
We have a simple solution!
Today I used some "1500 plus", which is basically conditioner to remove 1500grit sandpaper marks after wetsanding...it basically removes dead skin as an analogy.
Used the 1500 plus and a buffer, and it buffed the "dullness" away into a nice shine. Wiped it clean and used some polish...added an even nicer shine. Then topped it off with some wax and bada-bing, as good as ever!!!
Now my wing blends right into the rest of the car!
I know a ton of you guys have this problem as well, and this is a much cheaper alternative to repainting. Waxing doesnt give it half the shine, and it lasts only a couple days.
Im going to give it a shot on the mirrors as well, Im sure the results will be the same, but the mirrors are a bit harder to work the buffer around, so we'll see what happens.
