Default Pics of my car (track wheels & tires)

Just cleaned my car and took a few pics.
The rims and tires would be taken out after this weekend --- back to the sucky all season on stock rims for daily driving......

does the TE37 offer you more clearance from the spooon calipers than the stock wheels?

No... the TE37 (15x6.5) actually gave me much less clearance. I need a ~8mm spacer to clear the brakes. So I went with 10mm spacers and with 205 Kumho tires the outside edge would line up almost perfectly with the fender lip. Wider front track reduces understeer so it kinda help balancing out my front stiff springs.

Pic of said spacer, the gunmetal wheel in the background is itrsport.com's wheel (16x7) test fitting over the spoon brakes - no spacer needed for his:

strange.......
what are the dimensions of your TE-37's? 15x7, 45mm offset? also did you change to longer wheel studs?

with the 16' TE-37, was there alot of clearance?

sorry to digress from the topic

My TE37 is 15x6.5 (45mm offset). The spoke design is just too flat so it actually has less clearance than the stock wheels. I believe 7" width would have more clearance. I went with 6.5" because I want the lightest rim that would fit a 205 tire. Maybe I should have gone with the 15x7... I also installed longer (10mm longer) wheel studs. I *think* they were from Spoon, but I'm not sure.

That 16x7 wheel has quite a bit of free room between the caliper and spoke. Are you thinking about using those rims for your AP brakes? If you are, I strongly suggest you find someone with the wheel and test fit it on your car before buying it.

Hi Wai,This is Stephen from Australia, long time no chat!! I have a lot of vibration coming from the steeling wheel when high speed braking. The man who look after my car said it maybe the camber kit, so I took it out 2 days ago, but the problem is I can test it out unless I take to the track, so I have to wait until next track day and try it out, will keep you inform

Not yet cuz I still need to drive it to and from the track. But other than that, the car is pretty much staying in the garage. Hopefully I could get an SUV later on this year so I can tow the type R around to track events.

Food like cell phones, check book, carpet and newspaper seem to give him very high octane (he did eat all those things ).

Wai~ that's not fair, dammit. You've got two things I truly covet: a CW ITR and Volk TE-37 wheels... Your ride looks great!
