Please pay respects to Jody McGovern (EagleR)...
Yes, unfortunately yet another kid was killed, and his girlfriend is in critical condition late last night at 3am while driving home. His car was basically in two pieces as it was wrapped around a tree. I just got the phone call, and was practically floored. I will say that Jody has always been the second hand that I needed, when doing just about anything to my car. I will miss him.
For those of you reading this…don't think that something can’t happen to you; you’re wrong. ANYTHING can happen. When you driving on the street, slow down and take it to the track or auto cross. The car does not make you invisible.

OMG - that is terrible, terrible news. I am now very sad. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I did not know him persoanlly, but knew him here on the board.
He will be missed.
Edit: Please everybody be safe and be smart. Let's not lose anybody else...

Not too much about the details of the accident yet, although I will know more tonight. A bunch of Jody's friends are meeting at the north park boat house at 10PM, for anyone in the area. It WASN'T street racing that killed him, however it may have been beer-***** or just plain driving fast, either way, it's sad....details really don't matter AFTER the fact.
