RUST, because I am in Toronto, which is the King of Salt in the Winter. 
I love Tein RA as it was on my previous car, but all the adjustable parts became unadjustable after 1 winter.

Well then spend the extra money and get the S6, i cant really recall aluminum rusting..hehe. Worth the extra money to keep your mind of it IMHO.

No, they weren't rusting. They seized, stucked due to salt etc...
But since BC RS and B6 are chromoly steal, I asked about rusting...

S6 is where its at 
actually as long as you can wash off the salt from your underbody/suspension once a week and spray wd40 on the adjustment components those should not seize up
