mugen active brake system
kinda hard to compare but:
the 'cilpers' on the mugen kit are off an S2k and the rotors are a mugen design. This kit requires 16" wheels
The sp00n 'cilpers' will fit behind the stock 15" wheel and only replaces the stock calipers.

shi - who knows of no one besides EP running the Mugen active brakes

I suspect the cost has something to do with that!
That and having to find replacement rotors once you go through the first set.
I didn't address the Mugen vs. Spoon aspect.
Spoon just supplies calipers hich must then be used with stock type rotors.
Whereas Mugen supplies a "system" approach in which the clamping force is increased and the rotor has a significant cooling aspect in the design.
