Hey.
I have a 2001 Civic (SOHC) 5 speed transmission with 312 original miles.
Transmission is absolutely mint. Not a spec of dirt on it.
Transmission came out of a Civic hatch back, 100% legitimate.
I have the VIN number.
Asking $500 OBO.
Located in Orlando, FL

u say a civic hatchback..im thinkin 96-00....and then im thinkin its most likely the stock cx/dx tranny..with those bitch *** loooooong gears (way longer then 92-95 in the dx's)..and u want 500...this is too much for street value or "racer to racer" value..

2001 absolutely certain.
I bought the engine and transmission.
My friend who owns a shop, bought the car brand new at the Honda Dealer.
He bought it for the only purpose of converting it to a Civic Type R.
He removed the engine with 312 miles on the odometer (I was there!)
he put a B16B plus the whole CTR convertion. minus RHD.
I kept the engine, but since the CRX can't use the hydro tranny, I need to sell it.

I think the reason they asked if it was a 01 is because I don't recall honda making a USDM hatchback in 01.

the current Si is a 2002 model, BTW.
and if this guy put that motor into a 01 Si, you better post picks. I think you really have a 2000 tranny.
