FS ASAP: 1998 Integra Type-R #98-0587!
Yes, the time has come to pay off some bills, so the car is *indeed* for sale now. I was tinkering with the idea of selling it over the past couple of months and led some potential buyers on... Sorry for that, but the first person to send a deposit this time gets the car.
It's a flawless 1998 Type-R (Championship White) with 17k miles on it.
Price, photos, description, and contact informations being hosted on my website. Please visit it to check the car out. Thanks!

If you want to sell it as an autocross car, return it to 100% original stock condition. As it sits now, its hopelessly uncompetitive (does not mean slow).

Very nice, but a little high in the pricing ...... you can get '00 and '01's for that price.
When I sold my '98 in 2000, I got $19,500 for it ........ '03 cars are already coming out .......
Just a suggestion, but you will be able to sell it faster around $18,000 ......... I went through the same thing with mine. Didn't really want to sell it, but had to, and had to lower the price to get it to go ......... (I wanted $21,000 initially).

And to answer your suggestion... I'll ask whatever I want for the car. The 00's that you see selling for that usually have over 35k miles of abuse, rock chips, and track time. This cars basically in flawless shape, is becoming a rare color/model, and has very little use with no signs of wear. Whatever you sold your car for in whatever year is irrelevant to me.
Questioning someones pricing is against the rules of this board, be careful.

Hey man, I appreciate your support. Like I said, the cars price if justified by it's condition. Yes, someone can buy another 1998 Type-R for $18,000... but look at the condition and mileage of what you're getting for your money. If my car had normal mileage, say 40-50k on it, with some imperfections and some race time on the car... fine, take it for your $17-$18k.
And about the rule of not being able to question someones pricing... I myself don't agree with it as well, but I got doc'd a percentage point one time for questioning a guy selling a stock P28 ECU for $350 dollars. It's a rule on the board and I was just letting the guy above know about it, hehe...
Thanks again for your support.

Dude, I wasn't questioning your price, and trying to be a dick ........ I was trying to help top make sure you got it sold.
I've been there/done that, remember???????
I spent 4 months trying to sell mine, when it was only two years old, but I was asking more than the market could bear. So when I dropped it down to a reasonable level, I sold it within a week. And got exactly the price I wanted. I still made close to $4,000 off of it after paying off my loan, so I was happy.
I just couldn't get what I thought it was worth. I got what the market would pay for it.
At least you are not as bad as those idiots who still think they can get MSRP for their '00 ............
It is way clean, and I love the car, and I wish you best of luck selling it. Like I said before, I've been there and done that, and even though I don't regret it (it was the smartest and best thing I could do at the time), I miss it terribly .....

$19,500 is a damn good price for this car. I've already encountered some jacka$$es trying to get me to pay upwards of 22K for a 98 ITR. If I can get rid of my car this car is MINE ha ha. No questioning that price with the condition of this car. At least in my opinion. I have yet to encounter a cleaner 98 of any make, and I doubt I ever will again.
Too bad, I am not in the market for another car right now. For the condition and the mileage of this ITR, $19,500 is not expensive at all. The problem is that you will have to find a mature buyer who really loves the ITR instead of some kid buyers who don't know anything about it and just trying to be cool.
Good luck selling it.

"Selective selling"... I've been known to turn down offers from the "wrong" people in fear of my prize possesions being turned into junk
Did I mention that the new owner gets 15 minutes with my ex-girlfriend??
BTW in case you're wondering, she's holding one of my Stern Aguzze S-07's.. hehehe
