hopefully a few of the nice h-t members here will be able to meet up and do a test fit on the type 2 bar for EK over the weekend
as for steel bars, i believe the pic above is the steel bar since the aluminum one is more shinier/chromy but that's pretty much the only difference.....that and maybe lighter

the steel is chromoly steel, not stainless steel. so the aluminum bars are about half the weight of the chromoly bars. but the chromoly bars do have a better strength/weight ratio than the aluminums!!

heres a pic of the Type II bar on an EK...
I have a 2000 EK9, but I still have the D series motor for now (I'm getting a H22 and turbo later), will this bar come into contact with my AEM CAI? My t/b is on the top of my intake manifold, so I'm not sure if it'll clear.
