Prelude or ITR?
Prelude or ITR? I would like to know which people prefer more, and why? I think these two are really great cars. But i want the people of Honda-Tech to decide.

The ITR is a much better performance car. The big disadvantage with an ITR is you will be sweating over it every time you park it, whereas the liklihood of your Prelude getting stolen or stripped is much much less.

lo-jack. Would those CLUB where you put behind the clutch really work?

This was a new topic in the ITR forum...go here if u want to read about it; the last thing this place needs is another prelude vs integra thread.

imo i think the itr is a much better choice....it looks nicer and performs better....to me a prelude is kinda more on the side of luxury than performance...i would reccomend a civic si before a prelude but thats just my opinion...hope you enjoy the car you get anyway
I would get the ITR...they are both beautiful cars though, each in their own way...all the ITR's up here in Jersey I've seen are all pretty clean too, and they're pretty quick...peformancewise, everybody is right, the ITR is the way to go...but I love the looks of the Lude. Too bad it's a bit on the heavy side though. I was actually looking at a Prelude and an Integra GSR...I was leaning towards the Lude but couldn't find a decent one anywhere that was used...the GSR I might get when my Aunt wants to sell hers and get another Acura.
I have driven both, and for an everyday car, I think the Lude is much better. Even though the ITR is faster, the Lude is easier to drive, and can be just as fast. Not to mention the Lude is much less likely to be stolen. I would suggest a 4th gen over the 5th since it is a better car overall IMO.
actually im pretty sure the prelude was the 2nd most stolen car is american...
I say 5th Gen lude. The ITR out performs it by a little bit, not much. And you get SOOO much more with the Prelude. It's much more comfortable, you have more room, and my favorite, it's a lot rarer than an Integra. I say 5th Gen.

lol you must own a 5th gen prelude with such comments. everything you say in there is incorrect. an ITR is much rarer than a prelude.
The R is a reasonably impressive FF performance car, but the lude is much nicer on a day to day basis - personally I like having cruise control... I guess it really depends on what you are going to do with the car.

**** an integra..... i have one, (not an R, but an LS/VTEC). i don't like it, it's not the same.. yes, it's fast, but it doesn't have the same feel to it that a Prelude does. i want to sell it b/c it not a Prelude. i will always love the one of a kind, innovative Prelude

Integras (year 99 and up)
are the most stolen, holding 21% of the top 10.
Prelude is 4th at 6%

Thank you drive through.
