For the socal OG's on this board, remember back in Sept. 16 of 2001 there was a socal itr canyon run that cyrio and i produced? I know minty dip and family was there, itr 607 was there, speedpak was there, the wizard made a short appearce.
Well the time has come! The canyon run that eats all other canyon runs, the canyon run that end the summer with a blast. We have a 100 mile long canyon run though the Malibu canyons. It lasts about 4 hours. It covers Stunt Rd., Mulholland Drive, Decker and many others. This map is compiled of the best roads driven by the wizard after years of experience growing up in southern california.
Come meet us August 17, 2002 for a day of adrenalien pumping excitement.
WHERE: The El Camino Shopping Center in Canoga Park, CA.
WHEN: 9:30 AM we leave at 10.
We will provide maps so no one will get lost. Believe me, you will want to go on this run, it is sometign you will never forget! Oh! and keep the map because you'll want to go on it again!

Better than missing a car event because of Traffic Court on 8/16!
Remember, the day we all caravaned out to Buttonwillow we had some fun in the canyons. That was a fun day. That was the day I found out just how crazy you are.
Cyrio, ... it was a blast, which is why I'd initially replied to this thread.
Hmmm... crazy, ... maybe, stupid... no.
Yes there is a difference and I'm somewhat proud of it.
hehe at least Lance didn't soil my car!! LOL!
BTW -- I'm not the only one that had fun driving up the I-5 to Buttonwillow, as I remember.
If it wasn't for my 4-ticket court date/work deadlines/turbo motor install shortly, I'd be making plans to be there in a couple weeks, I kid you not.
As it stands, I do plan on making it out there in Oct.
Hey Guys, just keep it on the pavement.
I still remember VTEC'ing up that set of switch-backs while the rest of you guys watched from up on top!

haha sounds fun... i've torn up decker quite a few times before. BTW, decker is not high speed... mostly 70 mph or so, then dropping to 20-30 mph for turns. some WICKED turns though!!
Yeah chris, I remember. It was PHAT. And at the end we went to eat at the place where they filmed F&F on the coast. That was some good eating. I'd maybe go again, gotta check my schedule.
