I'm picking up a 2.5" custom piping from slow_ass_4dr, I'm looking for a muffler to accompany it, but I want this system to be as quiet as possible. I'll probably add a big resonator to the piping, but what mufflers are out there that are really quiet. I dont like the ES ovals at all...Would a stock ITR muffler work w/ this setup?

 

i put in the obx baby bomb muffler .. they have a deep tone and it's quieter than most muffler out there .... oh yeah, it passed inspection 2

Where do you find a DC muffler? I've never seen them sold as just mufflers.

 

i have a type R muffler w/ test pipe and its still pretty quiet except when i get on it

 

Will the ITR muffler be restrictive w/ a 2.5" piping from the cat-back?

 

i am also curious about this....where can you find just a dc muffler, and not the whole catback system??? anyone know??

the entire ITR exhaust system is 2.5' botlenecked exhaust. So no since the itr mufler is meant for 2.5' piping.

how bout the quietest muffler i can fit onto 3 inch piping for my SC?
