Silencer on my Apex Dunk is STUCK
I've done this many times before but its on real good this time. I even have a silencer removal tool and I'm pulling the heck out of the sucker and its seems to be on real tight. You guys got any tips to help me out here?
tap around the tip with a hammer(cardboard between hammer and tip). Use a 1/2" ratchet to pull it out-worked for me when mine was stuck. Next time apply some oil around the edge before before it in.

WD-40 around the parts where u think it's stuck...use a hair dryer or a heat gun and warm up the tip...use the tool that u have and just tug and twist...use a hammer to hit the silencer inward, then tug again..it worked on my friends universal dunk...
condsider yourself lucky, now you won't even be tempted to drive around making that awful lould noise.
bag the wd-40 and get pb blaster. spray liberally and let it sit for a min and then tap the tip with a hammer. if that doesn't work, run the car to heat it up and, being careful, try to pull it out while it is still hot or at least warm. you'll need a pair of mechanix gloves for that.
the other thing you can try is to go to a hardware store and get an expansion nut. they use them to hang stuff on drywall where there isn't a stud. anyway they kinda close up and slide through a small hole, and then expand. you could slip something like that throgh the small pipe in the silencer, and pull with that. this way you wouldn't damage anything, but you could put a pair of vice grips onto it and pull hard
