Car smoking!...Bad turbo...or piston rings
********************UPDATE PAGE 2************************
Had a rebuilt kit installed on the turbo yesterday. Its a Garret t3/to4e. When i start the car...there is no smoke, but once it gets kinda warm, the car starts to smoke a bunch out of the exhaust. Its not blue or black smoke...just all white and a bunch of it. Motor was recently put together with new pistons rings.
Is it the turbo? or is it something inside the motor (pistons rings) ? HELP!!!

I would do a dry compression test and then a wet one (cap full of oil in each cylinder). See how/if it affects the compression. That should give you a good idea if it is your rings.

pretty sure its not headgasket and coolant...im running E85 so its a little rich right so i can drive it safely to the tuner shop...either its bad turbo or bad rings, not too sure

A bad turbo or rings will cause a bluish smoke.
Since you've described the smoke as all white - we're thinking it's coolant.

When I blew my engine (years ago) it did exactly as you described. Cold ok, warm, bluish white smoke. Turned out that I had cracked ring lands, and the head gasket had slipped a bit.
A good indicator is to check for oil in the radiator, or if there is white pasty stuff under the oil cap or dipstick.
Also see if you can visually see any coolant on the engine block

sounds like a subaru. It may be just a slight crack, I've done that. I didn't even know until I decided to pull the motor apart for and sell it. i would have known if i did a compression test

hmmm...well my car certainly does not sound like a subaru when i drive it. itll bog at certain points but thats just due to the car running very rich for the time being...idle sounds goods...
valve seals have about 8000 miles on em...i ran it with and without oil restrictor, both still smokes...

Restrictive oil return... I had rubber hose from my turbo to my oil pan- When I got on it, It smoked-BAD- I had a bend/kink in the rubber hose, as sson as I chopped my crossmember to let the hose not be kinked anymore-walla- no more smoke. Hope this helps.
I remebered that when i installed my pistons(Weisco forged) the edges of the pistons were rough. They werent smooth. 12 and 6 of each piston had a rough feeling kinda like hardgrit sandpaper. The pistons were used and came from my all motor setup. Could this do it?
sound to me like you have some burn up pistons. ive seen it before and it look very rough on the top part of the piston all around the ringland area. my buddy had to replace his piston due to a lot of smoke(white) when full-throttle.
ill do a compression test when i get the chance sometime here soon. I started the car up yesterday and drove it for about 5-10 minutes, still smoking. I parked the car and my friend and i noticed a leakage from the bottom bolt of the exhaust side of the turbo...
just did a compression test and the numbers read... 210 215 210 220 across. Does this mean my ringlands and piston rings are good? Homie man uptop told me maybe theres a kink in my return line, Heres how it looks.

And a close up of it.

theres a little bend in it but nothing i think that would hurt the flow of it. Please fill me in what yo guys think. A possible conclusion i thought of what if im running extremely rich. Im using Precision 1000's with E85(105 octane i believe) its untuned but a local tuner here made it that way so i could make it to the dyno. The ends of the plugs had all pure white tips, but then again...the bottom of the turbo on the exhaust side was leaking oil from the very bottom bolt...im confused

Installed a brand new turbo from a friend and is still smoking once the car is warmed up. I took the downpipe afterwards and looked in the hole where it meets the exhaust and inside was all milky. Milky like vanilla creme! haha, im now starting to think its my headgasket...
any inputs?!?
