Default Need help with b&m FPR, Having trouble starting the car

Well i just installed my b&m fuel pressure regulator, and now my car has trouble starting. I almost have to give it gas everytime to start it up. What i notice about this new fpr is that it fluctuates alot, we set it at 40 psi, and it works its way up to 50 psi everytime. When i run all my accessories (ac,fan, lights, etc) my fuel pressure drops down to almost 30 psi, is this normal? Another weird thing is that i installed my gauge like 3 months before my regulator, and noticed that the stock fuel pressure would stay around 40 even after i shut my car off. But now it reads 0 psi everytime i turn off the car. Maybe this is contributing to my starting problems. Can somebody help me out here, thanks.

Eric

When you set pressure make sure the vaccum line is disconnected and plugged. Set it to 40-45 and reattach the vaccum line, pressure should drop. Its normal for the pressure to change with an increase in rpm. It is changing engine load and vaccum is changing at the same time.

Yeah, i did that to set it, but i still dont understand why i loose pressure when i turnt he car off. I think this is causing my starting problems. I have to give the car a little gas when i try to start it.
