Interesting...I wonder if it's as good as having a regular cold air intake like AEM's...

I have heard those types aren't very good, but I don't have details. AEM CAI

restricts air flow more then regular cai's. it adds and extra bend and a longer pipe which equals bad.

ricey or not, you guys would be surprised to find out that they make more power than an AEM CAI. some company tried this a couple years ago.. it never took off. personally, i wouldn't get one b/c of cleanliness

that will make less power than any normal filter style intake.

ok you put that on and lets race.... my real intercooler will show you up!!!! I never liked this poser intake... I think the filter getting dirty/wet alone makes this thing useless...

Umm whats stopping rain from getting sucked up and hydrolocking the motor ?

looks like a track use only item to me ... and when peepz see its just an air filter
and not an intercooler at the track... youll go from Pimpin to Limpin real quick like

do searches on CAI and read all the posts ... lots of discussions on them ... my personal view ... Short Ram ... if you live somewhere it rains a lot ... a couple more horsepower isnt worth rebuilding your engine

i dont understand how you could get hydrolock with that thing. Do you regularly drive throught streams that are a foot deep???? I sure dont!
I think every week you'd have to scrape off all the dead bugs.

hmm I'm downloading music videos right now.. so I didn't click on the link to see what it is..don't want to slow down my download.... but I'm assuming (from the replies) that its a front mount intake that goes in the front/center lower mouth of the car and looks sort of like an intercooler but instead its an air filter.. made by arospeed or something?..

anyway I think it might have problems w/ trucks spitting up rocks on the freeway and piercing the filter... or bugs, water, and other road debris getting all up on the filter... I think i've seen one where theres a glass or plastic, maybe plexiglass shield in front of it.. but then it would probably restrict the flow... plus the piping is longer and has more bends... I think i'd stick w/ the AEM CAI if you wanted a bolt on intake... and ppl wouldn't think your trying to floss a fake intercooler Lolz.. I wouldn't get it..
