474whp t3/t4 60trim setup!
I just keep getting amazed at the power this turbo is making! I recently posted my set up and dyno graph making 425whp@15psi with full exhaust and 91oct. I was told that this turbo was reaching its limits even though that power output was only at 15psi so I started looking for a bigger turbo. I then wonder what it would do running open downpipe and some better fuel so I took the piping off and bought some 112oct fuel. 112oct was all that was available at that point but its definately better than 91oct. I drove the car over to DNR Performance in Hayward, CA to have Dave do his thing on it. After some timing changes and another 5psi it made 474whp. I do want to point out that the timing on the 425whp tune was pretty agressive already. This time around timing is safer. I am now in the process of swapping out the stock b16 head for one ported by yours truly (we'll see how that goes!) and installing a 3bar map sensor. This turbo definately has way more in it so I will dyno again with the changes and raise the boost to mid to high 20's. 500whp+ seems to be no problem!

There was a little boost drop but it held 19-20psi other than that.

Best run so far! As you can see, my 60ft needs some help!

It does! I tested the car on the street right after tuning and I was not really going anywhere until 4th gear! LOL!

I am going to stick with this turbo for as long as I can. 10's with this is in my integra is definately possible and I will get there.

I am going to throw in some S2S1 cams in there as well. Jeff Evans swears by these so I will try these. I am sure I will get some more top end with something bigger than a gsr exhaust cam!

I have the motorola 2.5 bar. I could have run 22psi but I figured I'd leave it at 20psi. I just really want to see what this thing can do!

If you switch over to a ramhorn you can make a lot more!
I made more with the ramhorn with full exhaust than I did with the log and open downpipe. Just about 20whp more!

Congrats on the power
Now get it to the track
I tuned a similar setup as your's but at the track, not dyno. Differences being GSR head, GSR cams, 84mm bore, SC44 (Precision 60 trim) and 100 octane. The car made a few passes trapping 127mph - 129mph

x2........ this is one of the reasons why I like to come on hondatech and seeing turbo setup like this. hell to be honest, t3t4 turbos is a great choice to almost anyone who want to make good power. hopefully one day I run 10's in a quarter mile.

I went to the track on this power on july 6th. I trapped 128mph in all of my runs with a best of 11.5. I just could not get my 60ft lower than a 1.99! I need to play around with my launch rpm and tire pressure. I was running 24.5in slicks too! LOL. If I had done a 1.6x maybe I could have done a 10 sec run. This was in 100+ degree weather too.

Yup! This turbo is definately the best bang for the money. I picked this up brand new for $580 2 years ago! Awesome for a 500+hp turbo

Get the 60ft down and you will pull a 10.9/11.0
What rpm were you launching at and what was your tire pressure? Once the boost was set we worked on the launch rpm, tire pressure, etc. If I remember correctly he was on 24.5" M&H slicks at 10lbs of pressure WARM. We ended up at 7200RPM for his two step. This netted him a 1.71 60 foot and 11.1 @ 127. Fastest pass was 11.2 @ 129. I'm confident the car would have went 10.9 the next pass but the track closed

I was launching at 7000rpm with the 2-step on 9psi in the slicks. I think I will probably have to lower the pressure and the launch rpm because I was still spinning. How much boost did you build up on the 2-step?

Made 450whp on a 57trim and a EL mani on a 9.0 stock bore b16 @ 22lbs.
Tried turning it up to 25lbs, but it kept failing off. Figure it was a vac leak somewhere.
I paid $515 from camp1320 3 yrs ago. I still say it is the best bang turbo for your buck.

Yeah Next time out at the track I would try lowering tire pressure to 7lbs cold. Go from there. Maybe try heating up the tires a little bit more. What was your 330? I honestly can't remember how much boost the two step was building. I would have to find the logs and go back through them. We were running 16lbs of boost in first gear and 19lbs of boost from 2nd on

I dont think I was burning out long enough too. I could barely make them smoke. I dont remember what my 330 was but I still have all the time slips. Does running boost-by-gear make a big difference? I could use my boost controller to change from low to hi boost but I just leave in on hi. I am going to get the boost solenoid and use hondata to control it next time.

When we were dialing the boost controller in we were running something like 13lbs in 1st, 16lbs in 2nd, 16lbs in 3rd and 19lbs in fourth. This was to start with. Car ran 11.964 @ 119.82 with a 1.869 60ft with it setup like this, lol. Made changes to the air:fuel, ignition timing and set the boost to 19lbs 1st - 5th. Car ran 11.438 @ 124 1.7 60ft. Made changes again to the air:fuel, ignition timing and set the boost to 16lbs in 1st and 19lbs from 2nd on. 11.132 @ 127.93 1.726 60ft. The tune was dead on at that point. Car ran 11.137 @ 129.68 1.711 60ft the next pass. Through all these passes we were changing the tire pressure, two step and rev limiter. I dont have the time slips so I don't know what exactly we did with the tire pressure. The car looks to be building 6lbs off the two step
We will be back at the track within the next month to month and a half with the new setup. He went to a ramhorn exhaust manifold, backdoor intercooler, Bullseye Power S366, Skunk2 Stage 1 cams, Hybrid_KJ catch can and Port Flow head
