Default Removing A/C???

OK, I have a daily driven 95 civic ex and I'm thinking of removing my A/C. I never use it and it doesn't work very well anyway. But I was looking at the lines coming from the A/C and it looks like they run into my trans. How can I remove the A/C if it runs into my trans? Are there any instructions out there?

Hmmm a/c lines to trans, are you sure? I have 97 and I just fixed my a/c! There are two lines going from a/c compressor, one goes to condenser and one goes to evap. And from condenser there is line going to dryer/receiver which is located under your p/s reservoir. There is no a/c lines going to trans
Hopefully that helps

OK, I'm most likely wrong. I took a quick look at it. But it should come right out then?

As for evap. hmm it could be a little pain.

there are no lines that go to the trans, there is one that goes under your battery tray,on that goes to the fire wall behind the engine, there are littloe metal lines between your bumper and the condinser,

it should not take you a long time for this process, it took me about 20 mins
(taking freeon out is very bad for the environment)

but who the hell cares

20 minutes? Damn... Is it that easy to get back it too (just in case I ever want it back)?

when you put it back in you have to get the freeon refilled and i think it cost some good cash for that

the longest part of taking it out was letting all the freeon out and getting the a/c compressor bolts out

they are about this long

and i am not lying, hope you have some air tools or else your hand will get really tired

and if you have p/s it is impossible to take the compressor out with the p/s still in
