Ok so i finally got in contact with dave and he said he can not refund anyone's order because he has no money to do so. He stated all his money is tied up in this project and he is waiting on the convertors to come in

So i went ahead and called his distributor like he stated and i was told that 800 units are expected to be shipped in 2-3 weeks. I was also told FORD Motors was involved in producing these units and that they were having problems with them.

So hopefully everyone gets there units this month!

It would be nice to know how many people are actually waiting on this unit and the date you purchased the convertor!

 

I bought mine April 19th. Been waiting, and I was able to get in contact with him a few times.

Its good to know we might not have been scammed!!

Man Im stoked, good detective work!

Sorry to say this, but this has nothing to do with the technical part of the Hybrid Forum. Promoting BIGCALIDAVE's convertor box is not of interest of honda-tech. Since he said that the boxes are due in a few weeks, this will have to do for now. No point dragging this everyday. Please do not make more threads about this unless you feel that it is necessary. If you do so, please do not post it in this forum since it is not directly related to a hybrid matter. It is more of a customer service issue that could fall under the GDD forum.
