you have to cut a lot of your bezel... it doesnt really look that good in my opinion

I remember this from a long time ago... I PM'd him asking for the diagram and/or offering to pay to have a custom carbon fiber one made just like that when I was really looking into doing the S2K cluster into my old coupe, but never got a response... Looks pretty clean if u ask me...

Just make sure you get the AP1 cluster. It's 10 times nicer and easier to read.

is that the AP1 cluster in the picture...?? Isn't the AP1 cluster the one that lights up amber..?? The other ones digital part is white i think right..??

I wanted to do this install too, but I'm unsure of how to make it work and look good.

 

i dont like it much. s2k clusters go in s2ks. but thats just my opinion. it just seems like alot of work to go through for such a small asthetic upgrade. but if its what you like go for it

really? what is that? any ap1 ap2 picture comparisons?

 

ha its ok i suppose. if thats what your into. i just would never try it. im for upgrades made for my model. like i would put a cobra mustang cluster in my EJ8. but props to anyone who can pull it off

I believe a buddy of mine has been working on this for a while until he sold his k20 eg. Last i knew he had 2 of 3 plugs rewired for eg and had brackets made for the actual install....he probably still has it for sale. It's the ap1 cluster, as in the above eg w/ the blue quick release. If that's something you would be interested, pm me and i can try to get a hold of him. Personally i feel the jdm eg6 cluster looks way sicker. It's cheaper and it's direct bolt in.

i'd like to see the install process on an eg... i found the wiring conversion really easy, but the only actual install i can find is into a crx which is so not the same as an EG...

I mean it look neato, but how many people get the speedo working? A friend of mine did this cluster swap back in 2001 in his 1992 CX hatch with a B swap, but could never get the speedo to work. I know a time ago there was a company offering some wiring kit or something to make it work - does it work? Anyone have proof?
