Why did you replace the distributor? The codes are for the ELD and VTEC solenoid.

I replaced the dist for another reason in another thread i had. That didn't even fix that issue.

So any help as to what to do about the code? I'm already checking for bad grounds and fuses.

thnx,

It woldn't be a bad idea to tell us what year/mode car you have and what year/model engine and ECU you are using.

How did this problem start?

Without any background information your best bet would be to do the troubleshooting procedures outlined in the Helm manual for CEL 20 and 21.

It's a 94 integra RS with a 2000 JDM ITR engine running a 99 JDM ITR ecu with a obd1-2 harness adapter.

This started happening recently after I had the scrwe come out of the rotor in the distributor. About 2-3 weeks after that was fixed, the car started to act funny. While driving it, it would seem as if the car would die then comback everyonce in a while. Felt like sputtering, but it looks as if the the car would shut off for less than a sec by the way the car would jerk and the rmp/speedo would move erratically. At first i thought it was the gauge cluster, but i replaced it and same thing. Then i checked and the vss was broke, so i replaced it and same thing. I also replaced the distributor cause it was thought to be a bad coil/ignitor. Still happening. I have a 3rd dist to test still just to be safe. I redid all the wiring to make sure there are no shorts. I will dbl check the fuses and ecu ground tonight, but was wondering if there is anything else i can look into. I have no vafc/feilds or any other things. Just an exhaust and ctr cam for a mod. But those were always there. I'm really suspecting a bad electrical something. And most likely related to the ecu cause it feels like when you unplug the ecu while driving.

found the loose ground. It was the one on the thermostat.
Still have code 20 and 21 though. More troubleshooting will continue, although i have no mm to test with.
