Default Expo Sponsors: CustomLightz

I don't very often make threads, but I feel this needed a special mention.

Couple of months ago I had CustomLightz make me an S2000 based retrofit for my ITR, before that I had a plug 'n' play kit with stock projectors, Audi A6/RS6 based retrofit, and this blows them both out of the water.

Once you drive with a proper retrofit you will NEVER want to go back to anything less again.

Expo Sponsors get my business and a big recommendation from me, great lads and great service and the end result you can see for yourselves...

(and yes I was too team-lazy to clean the bugs off before I took the picture, sue me.)

I must agree with you... i've known Rich for quite sometime and his work is top notch. He even met up with me all the way in Brooklyn, NY to pick up my light for the retro fit. Great dudes over there... The price are a little more than the competition but their work is hand down the best i've ever seen. My lights are even better that my cousin's 07 bmw x3!

they're eBay halo-light-thingy specials that cost like $160 for both clusters. took the clear lenses off and tossed the backs away and mated them up to OEM rears.

that way there isn't the little horitontal lines to refract the light and gives a sharper cutoff.

all comes down to preference of what you want

So do you send them your stock headlights? And they will fit them with s2000 projectors?

I really want to do this, so any personal experience would help before I contact them.

From what I gather, you send them your headlights and they will put the projectors in. So you just pay for the labor.

You can send them projectors you bought, or you can buy the projector from them.

They offer a bunch of other services as well.

FYI- The owners/operators of Custom Lightz are super cool guys. I had the pleasure of hanging out with them during last year's Expo and at the banquet. I haven't set aside the appropriate funds for the retrofit but I need to!
