Default Are longer head studs needed when installing the Hondata gasket onto H22A?

Would i have to use longer head studs when installing the hondata heatshield gasket onto an H22A? What about if i use the washers as well? Will it work with the stock studs? Just want to make sure before i start the installation. I'd like to know just in case i need to get longer studs.

Regards,
Mark

Did you also install the washers that come with the gasket? My mechanic told me that the studs might not be long enough to accomodate both the gasket and washers. By the way, does the gasket make a noticeable difference in power and lower temperatures from the time you have it installed?

longer studs are not needed.....stock ones will do just fine....i used the stock ones and have no problems....i used the washers included with the gasket.....the washers are designed so that the heat transfered from the studs to the nuts is minimized and not transfered to the intake manifold....also, don't torque the intake manifold nuts to factory specs....if u do, the factory torque spec will deform the washer....just tighten the nuts so they are on there tight but not enough to deform the plastic
