Hey H-T for those of you who dont know me personally my name is Matt. Im 20 years old and I have been the owner of this (FROST WHITE) 1997 Acura 2.2CL since March 2005 when i was 16 years old. Ive put alot of money and time into this car to make it more original than it already is in stock form. This thread isnt meant to glorify my car but to show the rest of the Honda enthusiast community that these cars have potential and are worth building.
Standard F22B1 engine. (145hp & 147lb-ft) i use to net amazing gas mileage with this motor and trans set-up that would usually range from 350-400 per tank. which was a combination of city and highway.

Summer/Fall 2006. I then lowered it on Eilbach Sportline Springs and Tokico HP shocks. At the time i thought it was perfect but now i wish i had shelled out the extra money for F2's or Omni Powers. I also that summer added a GReddy SP2 exhaust which at the time was perfect. I recently just sold it in favor of an Invidia N1.

Spring/Summer 2007 96 ITR (4x114.3) Wheels and VIS Carbon Fiber Hood were added that summer. I really miss both parts and were by far my favorites to date. Both were very rare. The wheels were sold and the hood was damaged in my accident. The hood is currently on my friends CL now.

In Summer 2007 i acquired this JDM H22A w/ M2A4 trans from JDM Engine Depot in Kearny for $1800.

Tearing out the tired F22B1. RIP

After a few weeks of not having a car in August i finally got the H22 in the car.

Added the OEM CL spoiler which IMO looks 10x better than the spoilerless look.

Some H22 shots. ive removed and tucked a bunch of things, but am no where near done.

Sold the Type-R's and bought 1999 3.0CL wheels. almost as rare to find as the Type-R's. any CL/Accord enthuiast will agree.

I'm glad you kept it after the accident. It's funny that I was thinking about trading my old accord for this car. If I owned it now, it wouldn't be as gangsta. Keep cleaning up that engine bay to show haters that CLs can have a clean look.
looking good man....abs delete FTW...hahaha..i tucked EVERYYYYYYYYYYYTHING...lol....no windshield washer. no ac..no ps..relocated fuse box and battery...tucked headlight wires...i love the clean engine bay look...

thanks man.
well in theory if you leave your honda alone it usually goes forever.
im trying to replace my clutch master cylinder, pretty straightforward except for the fact i cant get the nuts off that connects the clutch hard line with the CMC. im running out of ideas.
