Default My first Build Ever (94 Hatch)

Well first off i would like to say Thank You Honda-tech For all the help i got for my car.

Ok Well My name is Antonio(Tony) Rodriguez, Im 16 and this is my first car. I think i got a sweet deal on it. i got it for 2k This build is going to go rather slowly due to im 16 and trying to finish school.

The Car is a 1994 Honda Civic Cx Hatch.

Well my Plans for the car is to get a decent Daly driver but also be able to go to the track once in a while.

Right now i have a JDM d15b Vtec but im in the process of trading it for a b18a1.

Well i have done some stuff to it since i got it so i decided to post up my progress and hopfully get some good feed back

The day i got my baby:

Interior...Its Ok lol

Engine:

About 1 month after i got tired of the ugly fenders, hood, Bumper and the Radiator support was mickied so i replaced all that

I also got new head lights
others were broken

Btw i do everything my self

So i was happy for a while But the wheel got on my nerves!!!

And my homie Sold me So and i think they look so sick but that me. Not chrome Polished.

So Inport Tuner.(only if it looked better

Aww well the dude before me had a system and a alarm So there was so many wires and the under dash harnes was [freak]ed to ****(Just the radio conector)
And well i wanted to clean up the Inside and paint the carpet black....

Before Seats out:

Gutted and Dirty.

Cleaned it out 2 days ago

Today i got to changing the harness under the dash and that **** was so tangled and [freak] to ****. there was wires taped into everything.

A [freak]ing Mess!!!

Cluster Out!

Trying to get hots away from grounds before the [freak]ing start touching.

There not even taped up!!

Left New Harness Right Old harness

Told you tangled

Looking good Finally!

Clean But Not done!!!

Well Thast It for now but ill keep this updated...Tommarow im gunna paint the carpet black and Change color of Cluster, and install my crappy radio!

Also Let me know what you guy think

Remember Its gunna be a while for me to finish lol But rest a sure im gunna do it!!!! lol

Thanks for looking

theres not really anything wrong with that single slam vtec, but your going to get an ls motor your better off getting a b18b1. its already wired for vtec too so probably think about gsr or LSV but its all up to you

oh ok.. well reason being is that i had a b18a1 in my ef and it wasnt even all that fast than the b18b1, it was torquey but dont get me wrong I really dont know how good of a bottom end a b18a1 is if your going to LSV it as long as you build it right it'll run right. thats all i have to say how many miles on the b18a1 BTW

nice im so glad u cleaned up the wires, i see WAY too many people just adding performance parts and not cleaning up YEARS of different stereo installs and alarms, i HATE messy spaghetti wiring. it drives me freakin insane.

so props to you for cleanin up what you have first BEFORE adding to the clutter lol

Axles are only $70 at Schuck's and I *believe* you can use your stock Civic mounts for the new engine. I know when I did my B18B1 swap in my EG I used at least two of my original mounts.

Just a FYI from noticing your jacked up pedals. You can pick up some new rubber covers for them from AutoZone. It's only a few bucks.
