Finally had the time to put it together since I picked it up 2 years ago coming this april from another user on HT. I sold my ek9. Here are the before & after pics of what it was & how it looks now. Body is under construction so pics will come as I update. Thanks for looking & give me all your comments & thoughts of my project.
This is how I picked it up

81.25mm CTR pistons
iTR micropolished & balanced crank
Eagle h-beam rods with Arp bolts
Skunk2 Pro 2 cams
Skunk2 Pro series valvetrain
Skunk2 Pro IM port matched to 70mm
Skunk2 70mm TB
RC 310cc injectors
Fidanza flywheel
Spoon cam gears
Exedy Stage II 4 puck clutch kit
Enjoi motor mounts
2.5 collector 4-1 headers
Spoon n1 catback
LS tranny

I'm going with the original R CW' & doing a complete Spoon look! My buddy happens to be one of SoCal's major Spoon distributors. & I already got most of Spoon's dc2 parts. Just haven't posted pics of those lol! Paint will be done sometime in a few weeks & motor will go to my uncles machin shop too.

Well if in case I get another on or happen to get on you'll be the first to know! Yea I can't wait to get it done. Its gunna be on the front of my buddies business cards for his shop, & openings for upcoming events.

Picked up some 16' bronze TE37's so this dc2 has a new set of shoes! I'll try posting pics sometime this week!

My buddy & I picked this up planning it to be a drag car but I got rid of mine & deciced to build it as my DD so I pretty much paid $80 for the car, $50 on gas, plus another $60 for the trailer. So thats how much I paid for this thing! Once its done, my estimate spending on this restoration was about $3k. & being a 00' GSR I still make a profit of it if I decide to sell but I know I won't.

For sure bro I'll hit you up! She hasn't been hard to restore just for a while I didn't have time but I just started messing with her this year. Coo for sure, just remember I'm up here near Six Flags! So where u moving too?
