Default car accident :(

today, i got into an accident...yes, it was my fault, i take full blame for it and will not be an idiot and say it wasn't cuz of me...the next section i'll give you the full story...but if u don't care and just wanna see pics, skip it... no i'm not showing this off...no i'm not happy about it...i'm devastated as any other teg owner would feel...but anyways leave comments if you wish...

so i ended school at 2:50 today and was gonna go straight to the shop to get my starter for the car...i'm on a side street (highland) waiting to make a right turn into a main street (83)...there was a lot of traffic so i waited...then there was a small 6 wheeler truck that had its right turning signal on as if it were going to make a right turn onto highland...it even started to slow down once it reached the corner...so then i went on to make my turn...usually i make sure they pass by me so i can make my turn so **** like this doesn't happen...but since it was a big car, i decided to be nice and go to give it the room it needed since it was a semi - small street...well, it backfired on me...the truck proceeded forward and hit my front left end of the car...the air bag didn't go off or anything...i wasn't hurt by it...and it didn't really feel like anything...sorta just like bumper cars...so he stopped about a half a block down the road and i pulled up next to him...got out of the car and started talkin to him about it...he asked me why i went...i told him how he had his turning signal on and made it look like he was going to turn...and he says: "i never had my turning signal on, they're my parking lights" i'm thinking what the [freak] are you talking about?! i know what blinking parking lights mean u [freak]in dip...so i never said anything i was just like, "oh my bad" i guess....so the cop showed up...heard both sides of the story...and told me it was my fault...the only good thing was that he didn't give me a ticket...so my license doesn't get suspended because i'm already on supervision for speeding...now my fender is [freak]ed up...my wheel is [freak]ed up along with my tire...and my front bumper is as well...need to replace everything...then paint it...where am i gonna get the money? i have a total of like 115 in my savings account and 7.50 an hour is not helping...anyways...now i'm trying to figure out where to get the jdm pieces and where there is a good paint shop around northwest suburbs of chicago, IL...thanks for listening and hear are the pics...

to some, it doesn't seem like much...but to me, its a big [freak]in deal

Hit up ebay. Theres a few fenders paying now. A couple bumpers as well.

As far as the rim, just get it fixed. Might run you $60-$100 depending on where you go.

yeah no one was hurt...tho my dad was still pissed like no other...right now the car is driveable in the day but at night i can't cuz my hid just basically ripped right outta my headlamp...as for the rota slipstream wheel..the shop i go to stocks up on em so its not a problem..i can't hammer it out cuz i don't wanna take the chance of it cracking...its light aluminum so it could crack easily and thats money down the drain...its only the bumper and fenders that looks bad...if u pop the hood, you can see that the frame is in the same shape so its all good...on top of that...all the pieces were bolted on as opposed to being welded so it should be farely easy...atmospheric, thanks for that site...i've heard of it...now time to explore it...i need to get a new fender...headlights...bumper...and i think my wheel alignment is off...but i noticed this, when i turn the wheel when the car is off...its hard to turn it..but wen the cars on, its easy...normal right? cuz of the powersteering pulley with the engine? anyways, i'm gonna look into these parts...i need your opinion...i got the car for 6 stacks, how much do u think it is to buy all the parts to replace those? do u think its worth it? im not considering selling the car, my dad is and i need to prove to him that i love this car more than anything...and he's bullshitting with me saying that it costs the same if not more than what we got the car for

sorry for the speech

Actually, it's not all that bad. I remember when the non-HID front ends were going for about $3,000 while the HID front end went for $4,500.
